1. review的基本意思是“回顾,检查,检讨,重新考虑”,指对已经发生过的事情进行总结,以便从中吸取经验或加深印象,也可指对书籍、剧本等的内容作简略介绍,指出其优劣,而后附加评论者的批评或个人意见,即“评论”,引申也可用于指带有评论性的“刊物”。review还可指“检阅”。
2. be〔come〕 under review意为“受到评论,在审查中”,本身含有被动意义。

1. review的基本意思是思考当天或以前发生的事件或成就,即“回顾”。还可指“复习”“写…的文章”“检阅”等。
2. review一般用作及物动词,可接名词、代词或由疑问词引导的从句作宾语。可用于被动结构。
3. review有时也可用作不及物动词,常与介词for连用。
